If the game starts up and it still says to plug in the controller, uncheck the MotionPlus box, and recheck it, click apply, close, and see if it works. You want to have that checked before you start up Skyward Sword. There is a checkbox on the bottom right side of the wiimote configuration panel callled "MotionPlus". run the dolphin.exe file, ignore the startup error, click on wiimote, click configure, load one of the skyward sword profiles(ZeldaSS 360). I have a wireless xbox controller that i connect to my pc through a usb cord. I would really like to play Skyward Sword on my PC with my Xbox controller. Been using CEMU for quite some time and It seems really difficult to get a controller working for Dolphin (unless i am missing something obvious). This is my first time trying out Dolphin emu. It's not the best way (with an actual MotionPlus Remote) but it works. EDIT: Found a way to do it, look at my comment to see how.
